The purpose of this study was to evaluate the quality of work life of Qazvin education staff and its relationship with job adaptability.
The research method was descriptive and correlational. The statistical population of this study was 220 employees of area 1, 2 and 3 in Qazvin. According to the Morgan table, 136 people from this population were selected as a sample by using random sampling method. After completing the Walton quality of work life Questionnaire (1973) and the Savicas Career Track Adaptability (1997), data were collected by the sample of individuals, and analyzed statistically. Descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation and stepwise analysis of variance were used to analyze the data.
The results showed that the quality of work life of the employees is relatively favorable. The level of living of employees did not show any relationship with gender, age and work history, but the results indicated that the level of living of the employees has a significant relationship with their level of education. In all three areas, none of the components of quality of work life, except for the overall living space, showed a significant difference. Average score of components, adequate and fair pay, showed the lowest rate for all components. According to the results of this research, job-adaptability of the employees showed a higher than average level. Also, the results showed that there is a significant positive correlation between quality of work life and occupational adaptability of employees, so that by increasing adaptability, the quality of working life increases. Results of regression analysis step by step showed: Among aspects of adaptability, occupational. aspect can be a strong predictor of quality of work life.
Because the lowest and average score are related to the components of quality of work life and in relation adequate and fair payment, Therefore, in order to improve the quality of employees, work, the most important issue that should be considered by education. Staff are financial issues and salary and benefits. Since only in the component of general living space that relates to the balance between work and family life, there was a significant difference among distinct 3 and others. District 3 employees got higher scores. According to the smaller size of the area and workload of work they haven’t prevented from family responsibilities. If education staff of other areas can reduce work troubles and workload by increasing the number of employees and division of labor, can create a balance between work and family, that it increases the quality of work. According to the positive relationship between employees quality of life and career adaptability, counseling and counseling interference can be taken to increase adaptability especially in terms of control in order to improve the quality of work life of the staff. Since education is one of the vital organizations in the country. The specific attention of descion makers to teacher’s life quality. Seems to be necessary. That it will lead to comprehensive development of country.
